September 11th 2010Naomi was so excited to turn 8 and be baptized by her dad. She told me just before she went down into the water, "I've waited my whole life for this!"

My parents and my sister Melinda and her family drove down from the Bay Area for the weekend. It was really busy but fun, fun, fun.
It was my sister Jana's anniversary, and my niece Elise's first birthday. Throw in a business meeting, a soccer game, a race, an airport pick-up, and a dinner party and the day was about complete.
Maybe Lindi will post pictures from the Sand Pit 5K we did Saturday morning. Running in deep sand, in the ocean, military style obstacles, it was exhausting and a total blast.

Wow! I forget that other kids Arianna's age grow up too! Look at your darling kids! Congrats on the baptism.
